Glucosamine is a natural substance found in the shells of shellfish that helps generate cartilage and has been shown to reduce inflammation. Chondroitin is derived from shark or bovine cartilage and helps stimulate the regeneration of cartilage. Glucosamine helps support healthy cartilage, while chondroitin may provide a cushion for joints.
